You won’t predict every gender, but these endings are reliable enough to guess well:

How to actually remember genders
- Never learn a noun alone — always learn it with its article: not “Tisch” but “der Tisch”.
- Colour-code as you go: der = blue, die = red, das = green. Your brain remembers colour.
- Trust the endings above for words you don’t know — you’ll be right far more often than not.
